ALL 'LIT' UP CINEMA FILE FEATURE: BRAVO! Common Men, Uncommon Valor

Next week, Ken Rodgers - author, poet, teacher, filmmaker - will stop by the blog with something specifically written for ALL 'LIT' UP, but I couldn't miss the opportunity presented today to help him and his wife, Betty Rodgers, plug their amazing documentary film, BRAVO! Common Men, Uncommon Valor. I stumbled on Ken's post at the Bravo! The Project blog. Today, January 21, 2012, is the forty-fourth anniversary of the beginning of the Siege of Khe Sanh, which is the subject matter of their heartfelt documentary. ABOUT THE EDITOR

James Goertel was born in North Dakota and spent twenty years working for ABC, NBC, and TLC among others. 'Carry Each His Burden,' his debut fiction collection, was released in September of 2011, followed by his debut poetry collections, 'Each Year an Anthem' and 'With No Need for a Name,' in 2012. ALL 'LIT' UP is an opportunity for James to share the stories, insights, and unique perspectives of the authors, editors, publishers, and booksellers he has been fortunate to call friends, mentors, and influences in his own journey as a writer.
